iPad App Bingo

bingo

The following apps were discussed at the Technology in Music Education: New Possibilities and Pedagogies Symposium at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa on October 11, 2013.

It isn’t all about the apps…but…

  • You do need to find great apps
  • It becomes more about how to use and integrate the apps as a teacher and with students
  • There are thousands of apps on the app store…these are representative apps, but they are all winners
  • You will not need all of these apps
  • Each of the links on this page is a referral link; by purchasing an app through a referral link, the cost is the same, but a percentage of the app purchase (roughly 7%) comes back to techinmusiced.com.

Some notes about finding apps:

  • Read blogs and find Twitter accounts of people that talk about apps
  • If you find an app, Google it (Bing it, DuckDuckGo it).
  • Treat App Store ratings with skepticism
  • Always look at when the app was last updated

Thank you for attending my presentation today…if you have any app suggestions, please send them my direction!
