More About the Kids Area at the Apple Store (App List)

I had a chance to go into our local Apple Store (Mall of America), and sure enough, the kids area has been converted to an all-iPad experience. As I wrote about earlier, this change makes a lot of sense.

Although the Apple staff will not allow you to take pictures in the Apple Store, I took a quick picture of the apps that they have loaded for children on those iPads. I wanted to know which apps they loaded on those iPads for my own children to use; I figured that you might be interested in those apps, too (Note: The second page of apps was simply a folder of all the Apple apps). There were no apps in the App Store that matched the icon on the iPad, so I am guessing that one of the Sponge Bob games below was the app (Bouncy Fun Time was updated on 4/25/2012, which may have arrived with a new icon). The prices are from 4/27/2012, and all of the apps would cost about $50.00.
