Presenting at TIES today

I’ll be presenting a session on the iPad in Music and the Fine Arts today at the 2011 TIES Convention.

Minneapolis Hyatt Regency
2:25 PM-3:15 PM
Cedar Lake Room

The iPad has tremendous potential for courses in the fine arts (band, choir, orchestra, general music, music theory, guitar, art, digital photography and drama). Numerous apps and accessories applicable to the fine arts will be discussed and/or demonstrated during the session.

The PDF of the presentation can be found here: TIES Presentation 2011.

A word of thanks to Nyssa Brown, Professional Development and Research Music Education Coordinator at the Perpich Center of the Arts, for guidance with condensing the standards for this presentation.
