Web 2.0 Tools in the Music Classroom

I just attended a session at thr IMEA 2011 Music Education Professional Development Conference entitled “Web 2.0 Tools in the Music Classroom,” presented by Liz Fritz, a middle school music teacher in Decorah, Iowa. She also holds professional development classes and offers an online course, too.

The session included a lot of tools for interactive classrooms. An interesting tidbit was that up to 25% of Iowa schools have 1-to-1 technology initiatives. I believe that most of those initiatives are notebook-based.

Ms. Fritz’s website can be found here.
