Presenting at the MMEA Mid-Winter Conference 2/17
Our school district has a special ATPPS (Alternative Teacher Pay System) day on Friday, so although the Minnesota Music Teacher’s Convention runs through Saturday, I am presenting three sessions on technology on Thursday at the Minnesota Music Educators Association Mid-Winter Conference.
The sessions are in Room L100A at the Minneapolis Convention Center:
2:00-3:00 iPads in Music Education
3:15-4:15 SMART Boards in Music Education (Much of the content applies to any IWB)
4:30-5:30 Technology in Music Education
The iPad session will be given from an iPad, the SMART Board session from a PC, and the Technology in Music Education session from my MacBook using a Prezi. I will post PDFs of the presentations as well as the Prezi link within the next day or two, as I will likely tweak each of the presentations both before and after the convention.
I would like to thank Tierney Brothers for providing a SMART Board for the sessions, as well as a LCD projector. I would also like to thank Mary Schaefle, Executive Director of the MMEA, the staff of the MMEA, and all the MMEA committee members and volunteers who chose to put these presentations on the schedule and helped coordinate the delivery and pickup of the SMART Board.
